About Adventure Wagon
Adventure Wagon is a Portland shop that builds adventure vans and camper vans, and sells the modular kits behind them. You can order a finished 4x4 RUV, bring in a Sprinter or Transit for a factory conversion, or take the interior kit home and do it yourself. Reviewers keep coming back to the same things: the kits are well engineered and the parts are nicely fabricated. Several mention installs going smoothly because the videos and instructions are easy to follow, even for first-time DIYers. One couple logged about 54 hours on a Sprinter 170 crew kit with help. Others call out the staff by name for being patient and responsive through build changes and questions. Financing and parts are part of the picture, and the shop handles off-grid power and upgrades alongside full conversions. The place is wheelchair accessible, and it's worth a call ahead on hours before you drive over.
