Summerfield, FL
RV Dealers in Summerfield, FL
Summerfield sits in the middle of Florida horse country, and it happens to hold five RV dealers within the city limits with a dozen more nearby. That is a fair amount of inventory for a small town, so you can spend a Saturday comparing floor plans instead of driving to Ocala or Orlando. Here is how the local options break down.

What the five dealers offer
Of the five dealers in Summerfield, two focus on used RVs, two on motorhomes and two on travel trailers, so there is overlap by design. Three offer financing, which matters if you have not talked to your own bank yet. The two big names are Camping World on the highway side and PPL Motor Homes, and both list financing, service, parts and consignment. Camping World carries the volume and the review count; PPL's shoppers rate it a touch higher at 4.6. Harvey Mobile Home is smaller but rated 4.8 across 26 reviews.
The smaller names on the list
RV SwapShop Storage Facility and The Custom Plate Guy round out the five, and neither is a full-line RV store in the usual sense. The SwapShop does storage and swaps, which is useful if you are between rigs, and The Custom Plate Guy has no ratings yet. Do not cross a name off because of that. A small dealer with 26 reviews can still beat a big one on the walk-through. Call ahead about what is on the grounds before you drive over, and ask whether the unit you want is actually in Summerfield or at another store.
12 more within reach
Twelve additional dealers sit outside the city, which is normal for this part of Marion County. The spread means you can compare a travel trailer at one place and a used motorhome at another without crossing the whole county. Since local inventory skews toward used and travel trailer, sort out your tow vehicle before you shop. Half-ton trucks run out of payload faster than buyers expect. Get pre-approval from your own bank first, then let the dealer try to beat it. Off-season buying helps here, and so does asking pointed questions about the service department's wait time.
