RV Dealers in Denton, TX
Denton sits just north of the DFW sprawl, close enough that a weekend lot crawl is easy and far enough that traffic rarely eats the whole day. Five dealers call the city home, with another 12 nearby, and the average rating of 4.3 means most lots here earn their stars. I have bought two RVs and walked off a third lot, so I know what a good visit looks like.

What the Denton lots carry
All five Denton dealers stock used units, so a budget shopper has options on every lot. Travel trailers show up at all five, and four of the five carry motorhomes. If you want something new, Blue Compass RV Denton and Fun Town RV Denton are the two places to start. Outback RV of Texas, Camping World and I-35 RV Super Center lean used, and three of the five take consignments, which is worth knowing if you are selling as much as buying. Spend an hour on the phone before you drive. Ask for the stock number and the actual out-the-door figure, not the advertised one.
The big three on the interstate
Fun Town RV Denton and Blue Compass RV Denton both have the volume to keep a deep used inventory, and Camping World - Denton has the largest review base here at 1,498, which tells you plenty of people have kicked tires there. Blue Compass is the one with trade-in, service and parts under one roof, so a single trip can cover appraisal and a repair. Ratings run from 4.2 to 4.4 across these three, close enough that the deal matters more than the stars. Read recent reviews for service department complaints specifically, since sales reviews can hide a weak shop.
Smaller lots worth the drive
Outback RV of Texas has the best rating in town at 4.7 across 88 reviews, and it handles used, motorhome and travel trailer sales plus consignment and delivery. I-35 RV Super Center runs 4.1 over 202 reviews and skips financing, so bring a pre-approval from your own bank or credit union before you go. That advice applies anywhere, but it is close to required at a lot without a finance office. Ask each smaller dealer how long a unit has sat on the lot and whether the consignment seller is motivated. Sellers on consignment often have a floor price and some room to move.
