RV Dealers in Anchorage, AK
Anchorage is a small market with a long reach. Fifteen dealerships serve the whole bowl, and the ones worth your Saturday tend to be the ones locals already use. My wife and I bought two rigs up here and walked off a third lot without a word. Here is what we learned about who does what.

Where the volume sits
Great Alaskan Holidays carries the reviews, over a thousand of them, and the rating holds at 4.4. That is a rental fleet operation first, which means their sales side knows motorhomes because they service them daily. Frontier Auto & RV Sales is the other big one, 202 reviews and a 4.1, and they cover used, motorhome and travel trailer in one lot along with financing, service, parts and trade. If you want to compare a few floorplans in an afternoon without driving to Eagle River and back, those two are the efficient stops.
The small shops earn their ratings
Four of the fifteen are used-only, so the new inventory is thin and you will mostly be shopping someone else's trade-in. That is fine if you get an inspection. Alaska Camper Van Conversions sits at a perfect 5.0 across 20 reviews and does service work, a good sign for anyone buying a van or a class B. Alaska RV Trip holds a 5.0 on nine reviews. Dependable RV is the new travel trailer option at 4.5 over 113 reviews, and they do financing and delivery. Small review counts mean less, so ask questions in person.
Fitting the rig to the state
Nine of the fifteen stores list motorhomes, and that tracks with how people actually travel here. Long highway stretches, gravel pullouts, and a season that rewards a rig you can self-contain. Travel trailers show up at four stores, which is a reasonable path if you already have a capable truck. Buy in the shoulder season if you can. Get financing pre-approved at your own bank before you sit down at a desk, and insist on a full walk-through at delivery with the water and power hooked up.

Questions people ask
How many RV dealers are in Anchorage?
Fifteen. The average rating across them is 4.0, which is honest rather than glowing. A handful carry most of the review volume, so read the long comment threads on those before you commit to a drive.
Do any Anchorage dealers sell used RVs?
Yes, four of the fifteen are used-focused, and Frontier Auto & RV Sales lists used alongside motorhome and travel trailer inventory. Used stock here is often someone's trade-in, so a pre-purchase inspection by a shop that is not the seller is worth the money.
Can I finance an RV in Anchorage?
Two of the fifteen dealers offer financing, Frontier Auto & RV Sales and Dependable RV. Get a pre-approval from your own bank first so you have a number to compare against. It also keeps the conversation at the desk short.
Which Anchorage dealer has the best reviews?
Alaska Camper Van Conversions and Alaska RV Trip both hold a 5.0, but on 20 and 9 reviews. Great Alaskan Holidays has 1118 reviews at 4.4, a much stronger signal. Weigh volume as heavily as the score.
