About Alaska Camper Van Conversions
Charlie runs a small shop in Anchorage that builds out camper vans, working on Mercedes, Freightliner, Sprinters, Ford Transits, Dodge Promasters and other vans. Custom interior and exterior work is the focus here. Reviewers keep coming back to two things: Charlie himself and the crew. People call him an artist and say the quality of construction beats other conversion companies. Several note he takes time to understand what you want and what you can spend. A full build takes a while, and one reviewer says it is worth the wait. Travelers passing through got help too. One van lost an awning to high winds in Canada and the team took them in. Another rolled in with a power system problem and was back on the road the next day. Folks describe the staff as skilled, kind and down to earth. Twenty reviews, all five stars.
