About El Kapitan
El Kapitan is a van conversion shop in Huntington Beach. They build and modify camper vans, trade vans and luxury vans, and handle upgrades and upfits. The business also does RV service work. Reviewers talk about build quality and 4x4 work on Sprinters. Owners Brendan and Ashley come up as honest and easy to deal with. One customer had a Sprinter upfitted with shelving and flooring and called it the best thing they did for their work van. Another says the shop rebuilt a van that another company had wrecked. A review about an awning says they fitted a replacement within hours, no hassles. Not every review is positive. One person left a message with sales and never got a call back after calling twice. That is worth knowing if you are trying to reach them. The shop is wheelchair accessible.
