RV Dealers in Yuma, AZ
Yuma has 10 RV dealers with an average rating of 4.1, and the mix leans toward travel trailers and motorhomes. I have bought two RVs and walked away from a third, so I know what to look for. These lots range from small shops with a handful of reviews to larger centers with hundreds, and a couple offer financing. A few sit near the Colorado River and the winter visitor spots, which makes them easy to work into a day of shopping.

What to expect from Yuma lots
Yuma's dealer list is small, 10 in all, and the inventory skews toward travel trailers and motorhomes. Six of the 10 sell used units, so there are plenty of options if you are shopping for something that has already been broken in. The average rating is 4.1, which fits a market where most stores are honest but not perfect. Two dealers offer financing, and if you plan to use it, get pre-approved by your own bank first so you can compare. Service and parts show up at several of the larger stores, which matters if you plan to stay in the area for the winter. Take a walk through the service bay before you commit to a purchase.

Before you sign
A pre-purchase inspection by an independent RV technician is the best money you will spend. I skipped one on my first motorhome and paid for it later with a water-damaged wall. At delivery, do a full walk-through with the service manager and record it on your phone; ask them to demonstrate every system, including the water heater, furnace, and slide-outs. Confirm the tire dates and check for even wear. If you are financing, compare the dealer's rate with a pre-approval from your own bank or credit union. Off-season shopping can give you more room to negotiate, but in Yuma the winter visitor season keeps demand steady, so do not assume a slow month means a discount.
