Redmond sits in the high desert of central Oregon, with Bend a short drive away and the Cascades on the horizon. The town has four RV dealerships, and another twelve are within reach. Shopper ratings average 4.5, which tells you the lots here generally treat people right. I have bought two RVs and walked away from a third, so I know the difference a good dealer makes.

What you'll find on the lots
The four Redmond dealers break down into two motorhome and two travel trailer specialists, with one lot carrying used inventory. Two of the four offer financing, so you can arrange a loan on site or come pre-approved from your own bank. Blue Compass RV Redmond is the largest by review count, with 674 reviews and a 4.2 rating, and it handles new and used sales, service, parts, and trade-ins. Big Country RV - Redmond has 343 reviews, also 4.2, and focuses on motorhomes and travel trailers. Bend Teardrop earns a perfect 5.0 from 68 reviews and sells parts. Cube Series RV has no reviews yet, so it's worth a call to see what they stock.
How to size up a dealer
Reviews help, but a visit tells you more. Walk the lot and look at how the units are kept. Ask about the service department's turnaround and whether they prioritize buyers for warranty work. If you're buying used, request a pre-purchase inspection from an independent RV tech, and don't skip the walk-through at delivery. That's when you learn how everything works. For financing, get pre-approved by your own bank first so you have a baseline to compare dealer offers. Off-season shopping can mean more attention from sales staff and better negotiating room.
Beyond Redmond
With twelve more dealers nearby, you have options. Bend is the biggest nearby market, and other towns within a reasonable drive add variety. If you're set on a specific floor plan, expand your search to the surrounding area. That's how I found my second RV after walking away from a deal in town. Use the nearby listings to compare inventory and ratings, and be willing to travel for the right unit. Just factor in the cost of a return trip for service if you buy far from home.
