What you will find on the lots
FunRVs.com RV Rentals earns a 4.8 from 98 reviews and handles motorhomes with delivery. Auto Loans and Credit Used Cars Trucks scores 4.7 from 600 reviews, specializes in used units, and provides financing and delivery. National Rv Buyers sits at 3.9 from 15 reviews and covers used and motorhome sales with consignment and delivery. Used inventory appears at two of the three lots and motorhomes at two. Travel trailers are not represented in the city count, so plan to expand your search if that is your target. The high review counts at the first two tell you they move volume, while the smaller shop may offer more personal attention.
How to shop these dealers
Get pre-approved by your own bank or credit union before you walk in, even if the dealer offers financing. The financing option here can save a trip, but a outside quote gives you a benchmark. Ask for a pre-purchase inspection from an independent RV technician, especially on used units. At delivery, do a full walk-through with every system running: water pump, furnace, air conditioner, slide-outs, and generator. Film it on your phone. None of these details are negotiable, and a dealer who rushes you is a warning sign. We walked away from a third deal because the walk-through felt like a sales pitch.
When to buy and what to check
Off-season buying often brings more attention from sales staff and more room to negotiate. Inventory may be thinner, but the pace is slower. Check the service department before you commit. Ask how long repairs take and whether they handle warranty work on the brands they sell. Delivery is offered by all three top facilities, which helps if you are not local. For used motorhomes, verify tire dates and battery condition, since those are common hidden costs. A consignment lot like National Rv Buyers may have private sellers, so confirm the title is clear before any deposit.
