About Winnebago Motor Homes
This is a family operation on the north side of Rockford, selling Winnebago and Itasca motor homes since 1967. The indoor showroom holds new units, and there's a good mix of pre-owned motor homes and travel trailers out on the lot. They also do parts, consignment, trade-ins and delivery. Reviewers keep coming back to the sales style. Plenty mention no pressure, and several describe walking the models more than once before deciding. One buyer drove 14 hours round trip after working out a deal remotely. Others praise the walkthrough at pickup, with staff staying until they felt comfortable running the coach. Repeat customers show up in the reviews too, including one who bought on consignment 19 years ago and still brings the rig back for service. The shop handles all makes of motor homes, plus hitch and tow bar installation, and the parts department gets mentioned. A few reviews bring up warranty and parts-ordering issues, so ask about those up front. Winterizing demos come up for first-time camper buyers.
