About Outfitter RV Manufacturing
Outfitter RV Manufacturing on Longmont's north side builds pop-up truck campers and handles parts and repair work too. Reviewers with a Tacoma, a 1500 and a 2500 short bed all mention the Caribou Lite 6.5 fitting their trucks, with weights around the light end for a camper. People who bought new talk about construction and fit and finish, including one owner who asked for lighter materials in place of the usual wood and got them. The cassette toilet, north south bed layout and under bed storage come up more than once. Not every review is warm. One long-time owner says the campers hold up but post-purchase support has been thin, with parts hunted down elsewhere. A more recent reviewer says the new owner worked them in on short notice for a water pump before a trip. Mixed, in other words, but the shop gets credit for the light builds.

What renters mention
“caribou lite 6.5 options: outside shower, rear awning, laguna table system, north south bed configuration. This camper is lightweight and absolutely wonderful . It fits both my hubby's 1500 and my 2500 short bed truck.” – Jessica D., 5 years ago, on Google
“These are true custom craftsmen. We purchased a Caribou Lite 6.5 narrow for a mid-size truck with the north/south mattress, under bed storage and cassette toilet.” – John R., 9 months ago, on Google
“We love our Outfitter 9.5 Apex camper. We live in Wyoming and it was a short drive for us to compare Outfitter with the Hallmark campers. Both campers are very well built but the advantages for the pop up camper go to Outfitter hands down.” – Becky M., 10 years ago, on Google
