About Murvaul RV Park
This is a lakefront spot on Lake Murvaul in Carthage, part campground and part RV dealer. Reviewers keep coming back to the fishing. One called it a nice place for fishing, and others mention boat ramps, a T-shaped pier, and a swimming area. There is also a playground for kids, picnic tables, and a public bathroom on site. Quiet is the other thing people bring up. Guests describe walking around and watching ducks, birds, and turtles, or sitting out at night with a view of the stars. Several say the park was clean. Cabins are available to rent if you want a roof over your head. A couple of reviews note rough edges. One guest had trouble checking in when the office was empty and the phone took several calls. Another found the cabin small and the wiring questionable. Worth reading the reviews yourself before you book.
