About Mountain View Adventure Vehicles
Mountain View Adventure Vehicles is a small, family run shop in Tucson that builds custom Mercedes-Benz Sprinter vans and overlanding rigs. Their builds come with toilets, showers, solar, lithium-ion batteries and current tech, aimed at getting you off pavement and off grid. Reviewers describe a family-like operation where the owner will spend hours walking you through the vans. One customer left with a van in about 2.5 days after windows were added and paperwork signed, and said the shop stayed responsive to questions afterward. Others praise the build quality and components, and one cross-country traveler got a broken water valve part ordered and fixed the same day it arrived. Not every review is warm. One local came away from a first phone call without her questions answered and recommended against the shop. Worth reading the full reviews before you drive over.
