About Kingstar
Kingstar is a small manufacturer in Houghton, in Michigan's Upper Peninsula, that hand-builds truck campers and horse trailers. They'll work with you on a layout and features that fit how you camp or haul. Reviewers who ordered campers say the build quality stands out and that delivery dates were on time. Some buyers mention quick replies from Marcus and William, even on weekends and holidays. Others had a different experience: one former owner of a Camino camper said the construction and support didn't measure up to the price, and another couldn't get a call back after leaving messages. With just six Google reviews and a 4.0 rating, the feedback is mixed. They offer delivery, and they build new units to order.

What renters mention
“I am not prone to write many reviews but I must take the time with Marcus and Kingstar. This is my fourth truck camper that we’ve owned. Something seemed to be missing in the other three. They all had their shortcomings!” – Kevin G., Edited a year ago, on Google
“Buying my second Kingstar truck camper from them - picking up in September, 2026. Their build quality is unmatched in the industry and I did my homework, visiting other small manufacturers, checking all specs, research.” – Paul A., a month ago, on Google
