About Grand Am RV
Grand Am RV is a family-run rental and sales lot on Long Island, operating since 1982. It sits in Mastic Beach, and you book by appointment rather than walking in, so call ahead before you make the drive. Online hours have tripped people up, and more than one reviewer learned the hard way that showing up unannounced doesn't work. The rental side gets the strongest reviews. Repeat customers, some renting for eight or ten years, describe clean, well-kept campers and a booking process that stays simple from pickup to return. They mention Maryann by name for answering questions and sorting out problems, including campers delivered and set up at Hither Hills. Summer books up early, so regulars suggest reserving well ahead. Not every visit goes smoothly. Some reviewers describe calls that went unanswered and messages that weren't returned. The overall rating sits at 3.8 from 45 reviews, which tracks with that mixed picture.
