About Exploration Vans - Custom Van Builder
Exploration Vans builds custom camper vans in Holderness, working with Mercedes Sprinters, Ford Transits, and other vans. The work covers full conversions, partial builds, upgrades, and consulting for people doing their own DIY projects. Each build gets planned around how you actually plan to use the space. Reviews keep coming back to the owner, Nick. People describe him as knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely into the craft. One customer had him sort out electrical problems left by a previous builder and add suspension, lighting, and camera upgrades. Another brought in a half-finished Transit for a heater install and came away happy. Several mention vans designed for winter travel, with heated floors and systems that hold up in cold weather. The shop also handles van detailing, inspection, and repair, and the lot has wheelchair accessible parking. It's LGBTQ+ friendly. If you're pricing out a conversion or stuck halfway through your own build, this is the kind of place to stop and talk it through.
