About Camping World - Bakersfield
Camping World in Bakersfield is a big lot on the south side of town, right across from a KOA. It sells new and used RVs, including motorhomes, travel trailers and fifth wheels, and handles financing, trade-ins and consignment. The store also carries camping gear and parts, and runs a repair shop. Reviewers often mention the staff. One shopper said the salesperson was kind, knowledgeable and prepared, and sent links to top choices afterward. Another praised the finance team for going above and beyond. A few people note the walkthrough felt rushed and some defects needed fixing. One service customer had a rough time with communication on a motorhome repair. With over 1,500 Google reviews and a 4.4 rating, it's a busy place. Folks shopping fifth wheels and travel trailers seem to get the most attention, and several reviewers appreciated being able to compare styles without pressure.
