About Bates RV Exchange
Bates RV Exchange is an RV dealer in Venice, Florida, handling new and used motorhomes. The lot also takes consignments and trades, which comes up often in what people write about the place. Reviews land at 3.7 stars across 64 of them, and pricing draws the most comments, followed by how well staff answer questions. Several reviewers describe a no-pressure experience and give credit to Cass, Colton, Cosby Crosby and Frank Matheney by name. More than one mentions the owner, Frank Bates, stepping in personally, and one seller said their coach moved quickly once he got involved. One first-time buyer called the staff fabulous and said they had their backs. Not every review is glowing. One customer said five stars would have been earned only with that same level of attention throughout. The entrance and parking lot are wheelchair accessible, and the store keeps set hours rather than staying open around the clock. If you are weighing a trade or a consignment sale, ask about it up front.
