About Base Camp Van Company | Custom Builds
Base Camp Van Company builds out camper vans in Lansing, working with ProMaster, Ford Transit, and Sprinter platforms. Full builds and partial builds are both on the table, so you can go from an empty shell to a finished rig or just get the key pieces done. Reviewers keep coming back to the same themes: design, build quality, and how easy the crew is to deal with. One customer had a 2024 Sprinter 144 AWD done with a simple, lightweight setup and no complicated systems. Another brought a Sprinter 170 AWD for a rugged build for travel and upland hunting with several dogs, including a lift and suspension work. A Ford Transit owner returned about a year later for a check-up and small repairs and came away impressed. Delivery comes up as part of the process. The shop space is wheelchair accessible, with accessible parking. Call to talk through what you need and start on a design.
